Bufanúvols company was founded in 1987 and specializes in performances and workshops of traditional dances and stories from all continents accompanied by acoustic instruments and voice. This is the dual nature of the group.
Dances for peace (2002), A cloud of dances (2005) and A sky full of dances (2007) are three performances of traditional dances with live music. The group's proposal is to have fun in a cheerful way. The public learns simple and colourful choreographies, and everyone is invited to join. The music of these three shows is recorded in three Cds. Several musicians have participated in the concerts and Cds: Monica Solà, Gregori Ferrer, Joan Avellaneda, Pol Aumedes, Miriam Tarruell, Clara Tarruell, Magalí Sala, Xavi Arderius, Sara Martí, Raquel Martí and Mireia Vila.
The land of silence, The bowl of happiness, Pilgrim’s secret, Bedouin tales, The silver bird and Mikhail and the three questions are shows with a storyline, instruments from five continents (baroque flutes, didgeridoo, botang, Sansula , bells, xylophones, darbuka, bowed psaltery, ukulele ...), dances and many songs.
Most shows have been presented in Igualada Festival. In autumn 2008 the company makes a residence in Miguel Hernández's theatre in Sabadell preparing the premiere of Anuria.
The public has said:
