The bowl of happiness

The bowl of happiness

The bowl of happiness is the compilation of two stories of different people of the earth. Each of them brings us a message of peace and love. Through them, we discover the great wealth that can bring to our European culture the discovery of other cultures and how they enrich us.
The first story, The history of the didgeridoo, explains how the Australian people discovered the instrument didgeridoo and introduces us to their world and their gaze toward the "Sacred". Aboriginal people play the didgeridoo to accompany the storytelling of their ancestors and to join the earth. They believe that the vibrations of this instrument are the same as those of our planet, where everything is moving. They play it at their parties while some other dance and clap and thus come into contact with the land, which is the origin of everything they have.

The second story is the fusion of two Oriental stories through which we know another instrument, the bronze bowl used for praying in Zen meditation. It is the story of a woman who, after losing her only son, discovers in a long pilgrimage that happiness is found when we give to others. The magical sound of the bowl of happiness makes us remember this story and especially the teaching that gives us.
