Pau Tarruell is a musician and actor. He plays the saxophone, clarinet, baroque flute, guitar, sings and especially encourages the children to sing and dance. He’s also a specialist music teacher in different schools.
He was a member of groups of classical music (Sabadell saxophone quartet), traditional Catalan music for children (El Galliner), dance music (Orquestrina la Vallesana and Iguana Perkins), jazz (Big Band of CEME) and has participated as a musician in various children’s shows with U de Cuc and Timbal Theatre, who performed different tours in Spain and Germany. He has collaborated with Jeunesses Musicales of Catalonia with more than 200 auditions for schoolchildren. He’s a founding member of the Bufanúvols company, which is now working with the shows:
Dances for peace, A cloud of dances and A sky full of dances. He has recorded three CDs of traditional dances with the Bufanúvols group. He’s also an actor and musician in the children's shows:
The land of silence, The bowl of happiness, Pilgrim’s secret, Bedouin Tales, Silver bird and Mikhail
and the three questions. These shows have been performed in Catalonia, Madrid, Galicia, Balearic Islands, Castellon de la Plana, Valencia, Canarias, Asturias, Castilla la Mancha , Castilla León and France.
